I'm a history teacher here in Namibia. I would bushman are disfranchised
but they receive benefit that we Bantu people don't receive. They
receive free education, free healthcare, free food from the government
and the chance of a bushman being employed are very high compared to us
Bantu and they are allowed to hunt game. They have opportunities that we
Bantu don't have. I would say most of them live below poverty line
because they find it hard to adjust from the hunting and gathering
lifestyle to modern lifestyle of earning money to survive. However they
lost much of their hunting land when British South Africans introduced
policy zone (Non-white were not allowed to areas of mineral resources,
agriculture and games areas). As a result, there are less then 200 bush
in the Kalahari today. By the way my country Namibia is a beautiful
country, economy growing, peace and stability. We get along with
everyone, both Bantu, whites and Sun people are happy Namibians
